I am a native Texan, educated at Duke University (BA Economics) and Emory University (MBA Finance). My interest in holistic healthcare began when I was 23 and suffering with reoccurring viral infections. Having done everything the doctors had suggested with no relief, I visited a local naturopath who helped me immediately. With this first success, I began to enthusiastically seek out holistic health practitioners of all kinds.
In 1989 I decided to make use of this experiential knowledge and began to attend dozens of health seminars around the US, Canada and Europe. I became nationally board-certified as a Clinical Nutritionist in 1989, sold my various businesses, and opened the Diet & Health Center in San Antonio. I have been in practice here for 19 years.
